His Almighty Provision
A letter to my family, friends, customers, supporters and anyone who wants to read,
Here we are again, another new and exciting transition faze, so lets talk bracelets first. Let me give you a quick recap of previous information:
Before going to El Salvador (to build homes with the church) in March 2018, between my parents and I, we had to raise a total of $3400 for the supplies to build homes. In the beginning of October, my parents set a goal for me specifically to raise half of this. I decided that I was going to make and sell hand-made bracelets with 100% of the proceeds going towards the homes.
By the grace of God, I was able to raise OVER $3400. We were completely astonished and beyond blessed.
Upon returning from our week in El Salvador, I didn’t want to stop what the Lord was doing. I decided that I was going to continue to sell these bracelets, at a slower pace, with 50% of the proceeds continuing to go towards homes in El Salvador for when we’ll be given the opportunity to return again.
At this point I also knew that I was going to be attending a Capernwray Bible College in Australia beginning of February 2019, and I had heard that there was going to be some sort of local outreach during my time there. In turn, I decided that the other 50% of proceeds made were going to go towards this outreach (not knowing in what capacity this would be).
From April to now (end of January) I slowed down my pace of sales and took a couple of months off, but once again, He showed me that his work was not yet done. We were able to raise over $2400.
I will be taking $1000 of these proceeds with me to Australia, still not knowing exactly what to do with it but I’m leaving that up to the Lord to decide, and you will all be updated once I know.
I can’t express my gratefulness to all of my family, friends, customers that I know and customers that I’ve never met personally. From the absolute most bottom part of my heart, thank you. Thank you for supporting in whatever capacity you did. Whether if it was from buying a bracelet, or giving a donation, or reading a blog post, or liking a photo on instagram or telling a friend; thank you. Thank you for helping further His kingdom.
Part of me is saddened to say that making bracelets will be put on hold during my time away in Australia. But the other part of me feels too much delight that triumphs over the sorrow, as we’ve got a brand new adventure ahead of us (and we’ll also be resuming bracelets in September 2019)!
Something that the Lord continues to show me is how His provision is something that we can not take lightly. This is something that he has PROMISED when we are faithful, and PROVEN over and over and over and over and over again. The cry of my heart is that I may always be faithful to Him and not lean on my own understanding of how I want to run my small business. HE is the provider. Its all Him.
Thank you Jesus for your good work, and thank you all again for all of the support. Now it’s time to jump into something new! Let’s see what He has in store, in Aussieland and in all of life.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work “ 2 Corinthians 9:8
